Kimberly Harbin is the General Counsel & Chief Operating Officer at Immigrant Defenders Law Center. She has been with ImmDef for over 5 years. Previously, she was the Directing Attorney, and prior Managing Attorney, on the Children’s Representation Program, based in the Los Angeles office. She represented unaccompanied children in the Los Angeles area and served as the liaison with the federal Long Term Foster Care and the Unaccompanied Refugee Minor program where ImmDef clients are placed. Kim is a graduate of Tufts University and Harvard Law School. Prior to practicing immigration law, she was a corporate lawyer and served as in-house counsel for two non-profits. She serves on the Law Student/New Member Division and State Advocacy subcommittees of the Southern California Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
