Katie Siler is a Directing Attorney on the Adult Representation Program. Her work includes providing removal defense representation for individuals both in and out of detention centers, as well as advocating for clients at the appellate level and through community advocacy efforts. Katie has worked in the immigration field for over a decade. She received her law degree from UCLA School of Law.


Prior to law school, Katie was an immigration paralegal at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP. During law school, she completed immigration internships with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. After graduation, she joined the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office of Immigration Review, advising Judges on complex matters relating to removal relief and the intersection of criminal and immigration law.


Katie joined ImmDef in 2019 as a Staff Attorney and later became a Managing Attorney, representing individuals with mental disabilities who are facing deportation through the National Qualified Representative Program.
